Our Story

The Boston Group is a very old-line group of investors and developers who own a gamut of office buildings, shopping centers, and factories, industrial, healthcare and educational facilities. How the maintenance division became a separate entity was very unique. At one time, each of the properties had their own maintenance department but there were many hours paid to employees for no work completed at some locations and at the other locations we had to hire outside subcontractors because we did not have enough staff at these locations. It was a win-lose situation. There was no one person in control of this maintenance “animal” as you would call it. There was no safety training at that time and no cross training or buying power.

Today, the Maintenance Division of the Boston Group is a separate entity with a staff that is heavily cross-trained in all aspects of facility maintenance and property maintenance. We have safety and purchasing personnel making sure we meet all criteria and have the best of buying power. We have three separate shifts so any issue can be handled immediately.

Over the past six months, we have decided to offer our services outside our own institution. Other entities could receive the same care for their facilities that we maintained for ourselves. We offer a back-up service for new customers. We have a motto of “one Call Does it All.”

Our areas of expertise include: preventive maintenance including painting, ceiling and floor tiles, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, masonry, fencing, parking lot maintenance, outside lighting, lawn care and property care, foreclosure board-up service, winter protection, storage, transportation, plumbing and sewer clean-out, fire damage, tenant fit-out, maid and janitorial services, trash-out and demolition services. Also, on-staff design services are available for your entire layout and design needs.

There is a major difference between a contractor and a service organization such as ours. We are trained and organized to operate a 24-hour call center to handle and problem within 2 hours of notification with fixed rates and costs with equipment and personnel to support your issues.

The Maintenance Division of the Boston Group also works for others service organization nationwide and is looking for other developers or investors who are interested in becoming part of the Maintenance Division of the Boston Group.

The Maintenance Division of the Boston Group specializes in certain arenas:

1. Health care facilities, hospitals, nursing homes and
universities.

2. Retail operations, national chains and regional and
individual entities.

3. Commercial, strip malls, shopping centers, office
buildings, cemeteries, automobile agencies and
financial institutions.

4. Food service industry such as restaurants, chain
franchises, distribution houses and wholesale facilities
and ice and refrigeration facilities.




5. Industrial, petroleum, storage facilities, convenience
stores with and without petroleum, grocery entities.

6. Hazardous waste, mold, demolition, trash-outs, landfills
and crushing facilities and hauling.

7. Energy, going green, power plants both natural energy,
coal facilities, windmills, solar and propane.

8. Foreclosed properties, residential and commercial with
board-up services, inspections, evictions and property
maintenance.
